April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month! In the United States more than half of women and nearly one in three men experience sexual violence in their lifetime. Sexual assault can occur at any age. Women in health care facilities, suffering from medical issues or otherwise vulnerable may be more likely to be victims. The Law Offices of Judy Greenwood, PC as a woman owned firm that has represented women in medical, and nursing home neglect cases and advocates to protect women and children who are seriously injured, we join with others to raise awareness of the prevalence of sexual assault in our society and in helping those who come forward and report their abuse.
